Going strong for 6 years but the soles are pretty worn. Great for EMS or fire

These are Great boots!!!! They are the most comfortable work boot I've owned. They are light weight and they are not a Hot boot. This is a huge bonus if you live somewhere hot. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because there isn't a toe cap option. The leather on the steel toe is soft and it has worn through. I'll order another pair and hopefully be able to get a toe cap.

Quite possibly the boots that saved my feet, knees, and back from further stress and injury!!!!! I am currently in the US Navy and needed comfortable and quality steel toed boots, and after wearing the slip on boots from Redback, realized that they were doing something right with their boots. When I found this option on their website, I was a bit skeptical, but decided to take the plunge on these boots. $300 is a lot, but for boots that I wear everyday underway for 16+ hours, there is quite simply no better option. Between standing watches underway or on the quarterdeck with body armor and other kit, my knees, feet, and back have never felt better!!!!!! The extra wide toe box helps with the tailor's bunion I got from the bad Navy issued boots I originally wore, and I can still wear larger/thicker socks when the weather changes. Plus, the boots breath quite well even in the heat. You can feel the quality of this leather! The biggest reason I bought these boots is I can wear them in coveralls and NWUs, which require lace up boots that are 8 inches and can be bloused, all of which are achieved by this boot. Quite literally every step I take in this boot is like walking on clouds compared to what I used to wear. Look up reviews on Youtube where they take the slip on boots and cut them in half and talk about the quality of those boots, because all of those elements directly translate into these boots. Highly recommend these for fellow shipmates, and I genuinely wonder why these boots aren't issued to sailors. 10/10 and I constantly recommend these boots and Redback to anyone who complains about foot problems!
