I suffer from plantar fasciitis and have struggled to find a comfortable boot for work. I have tried at least 6 different brands and styles. These have been a God send and would recommend them to anyone!!! The fit is perfect and my custom insoles fit great. 10 hour days have not been this enjoyable in a long time!!

The best steel toe work boots I have ever owned. They've been six months on the job and hardly seem worn at all, which is great because I tend to be rough on soles. Foot support is outstanding, and many of the foot problems I had gained through the use of other boots has gone away. Perfect.

I have had these boots for 3 years now. Working in EMS I wanted something that I could put on quickly and a boot that would be comfortable. These boots are exactly that! The best boots I've bought so far! Easy to slide into when you get woken up in middle of the night to run a call. I will say that if your have to do any type of climbing up or down large embankments they can tend to feel like your going to slip out of them..But for the majority of my work they are absolutely great!! I would definently recommend to a friend.

This paramedic has found in the "Easy Escape" steel toe THE perfect boot. It is very comfortable, especially on long shifts, wears well, is easy to maintain and always looks great and professional. Warmly recommending the leather insoles and the glue-on toe cap. I will never wear another boot.

Have been using Redback boots for many years now .I use these boots every work day . They are use on EMS calls, and even to hike in on mountain rescues, was worried doing this at the time thought that my feet would be hamburger. The boots performed wonderfully, wear like athletic shoes.

Before some very kind people pulled up with a pick-up truck full of your boots I had never heard of your product, now I don't want to wear anything else. I am currently homeless and just before Christmas an unnamed person gave away to me and my fellow homeless individuals a pair a person until the truck was empty. I live in San Diego, my feet never overheat, nor do they get cold at night. I am thankful for the person who gave them to me and to your company for making a fantastic product.

Redback Boots are the best in the industry, the boots last forever. I use to wear strictly for work, now they are they only thing I wear. I have had same pair for three years which the soles look brand new. I could never write enough about these boots to justify how awesome they are. Thank you to the Redback company and workers who provide such a amazing boot that lasts.

These are incredible. I work in these every third day for 24 hours and I'm still amazed at how comfortable these are. I've gone through several pairs of boots and I have never really found a pair that I have loved until now. I'll be purchasing another pair to where outside of work as well. Very pleased with these boots. Definitely recommend.

Extremely disappointing customer service. When ordering these boots, the website says that they’re in stock. You get through the whole ordering process, submit your order, they charge your card, then you get an email saying the boots are back ordered and they will tell you when they ship. The first time this happened, I emailed customer service and was told they were back ordered for THREE MONTHS. The only accommodation they would make was to either choose a different size or get a refund. I chose a different size and luckily that size worked great so I didn’t think anything of it after that. My second time ordering, the same thing happened. I wasn’t in desperate need of new boots so I decided to just wait it out. Almost two months later and I have no updates and no email that they’ve shipped. I decide to email in asking for an update and I got a super short response simply stating they’re back ordered until May. No apology for the inconvenience, nothing. I ordered the boots in January. That’s a four-five month back order. Five months with no boots to show for the $180 they charge your card. I LOVE these boots, but the customer service at this company needs work. A five month back order is not “in-stock” so the website should not reflect that product as in-stock. I will be happy to write a better review when they improve their customer service because the product itself is wonderful and I would recommend these boots to anyone.

I wore RedWing Boots for 12 years and will never look back. Redback is by far the best work boots ever worn. Going to order my next pair before winter.

Just ordering my 3rd pair. I wear nothing else for my day to day use here in the UK. As long as you treat them to some leather proofed occasionally, they stay wonderfully waterproof.
One small tip. I usually wear a size 10, but found that a Redback size 9 is much better. Yes, the boots take a bit of ‘breaking in’ but once done, they fit literally like slippers and are superbly comfortable and your feet are much better held. Getting the slightly smaller size allows the leather to stretch slightly for the perfect fit. Don’t give up breaking them in, it’s well worth it in the end!

I heard about Redback boots from a truck driver. Working in retail, grocery, warehouse environment I'm constantly on my feet. After years of trying different books like Timberland, die hard, hi tech, these boots perform far better than anything else. My ankle, knee hip and lower back aches and pains went away. When these boots are on my feet, it's like two hands holding and keeping them comfortable. They are easy to get in and off, don't feel loose like you can kick them off. I've worn them for well over 15 hours straight and my feet were not sweaty or soggy when I took them off. These boots are well worth the price. I've had mine for 2 and a half years and wear them every day. They are just now starting to show signs of wear and coming apart. These boots can take a beating and if your job in anyway pays for work shoes or reimburse for work shoes, give them a try. It took a year and a half of daily ware to wear out the insoles. The redback replacement cork insoles were very comfortable. Anyone I see wearing Redback boots I ask and we agree, they are truly the best. At this point I'm ready for my 2nd pair.

They were instantly comfortable, right from the box. They feel different than other work boots I have and the sizing is right. I ordered a 8,5 Women's, as I am usually a 7 in mens. I'm also a 9 in 'flat shoes' so I was concerned they would be tight but they fit perfectly. Highly recommend

Went back to the site to see how much a new pair costs these days, not that I really need them, mine have lasted 3 years with daily wear as a stage technician and carpenter. They are incredibly comfortable, easy to get on and off, but still fit snug. I wear mine with midweight merino socks (some places might list them as hiking socks). Since my purchase I have replaced the insoles once (I use both a cheap flat memory cushion and a scholl's gel inside now.) After 3 years the treads are almost worn down, with one small split on the left underside boot. The leather is holding up great. I used to replace my boots annually (albeit a much cheaper pair). If these shoes are more expensive then what you're wearing right now I bet they will last long enough to cover the additional expense.

When I originally got these for work, I picked them mostly because they were not waterproof, and thus would breathe well in hot weather. I ended up loving them for weed-eating because without laces or a tongue, the grass seedheads don't get stuck in the boots. Then I switched over to a deckhand position, and still love them for work in dry weather, as they are super comfortable and would come off easily if I went overboard. I've had them for a little under a year now, and they are still in pretty good shape, some wear visible on the back of the heels and I managed to pull the loop out of the back of one of the boots. There are now 3 of us on the boat wearing these boots.

This aircraft mechanic purchased his first pair of steel toe Easy Escape over a year ago and I still love them. I did have to endure a rather painful break in period that produced a few blisters. However it didn't take long for me to realize that it was all well worth it! I work primarily on a cement surface and they are still very supportive and comfortable. I do also wear these boots when riding my Harley so the soles are starting to wear out due to some occasional scraping on the pavement, which is understandable. I will without a doubt be purchasing them again and again going forward as I believe I am hooked for life!
