The best ! Real Australian boots

An excellent boot so far. The leather is thick yet pliable right out of the box, and I haven't noticed any break-in period. The construction quality is great, and all stitching and spacing looks even and well-done. They fit true-to-size and are nicely snug across the instep and fit securely. The TPU soles have great traction, and I know from multiple other pairs of TPU-soled shoes that they'll wear very durably for years. Definitely worth the price, and I'm excited that they're still Australian-owned and made. Can't wait to take them hiking!

1st time buyer. Bought great barrier soft toe. I usually wear US women 9.5. Bought size US women 9 and fits great. I can wear thicker socks with them. Bought these to do landscaping. So far really comfortable and repel water.

Best boots I've bought. I've had 2 pairs and they each lasted me 3+ years. Definitely worth the money. Always recommend people redbacks whenever they ask for work boots

I've bought redbacks boots back in 2012 when i was a tech. lasted 2 years in the shop and 2 years in construction until they were thrown away on accident. ordered my 2nd pair and can't wait till they arrive. Great boot.

I work as a contractor in Afghanistan and Iraq where the environment is rough on footwear. I needed a comfortable, waterproof boot that I could use on a daily basis ... the Great Barrier has proven to be THE best boots I have ever owned. Remarkably durable and fully waterproof, these boots have completely exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a long term solution to work boot needs. I purchased the Red Back leather preservative and religiously apply it to keep the boot leather healthy ... after two years of use they still look and feel great. The boots come with a great foot liner that keep your feet well supported. I can say enough about these boots ... the last pair I will ever need.

So comfortable, beautiful and easy to get on and off! I was looking at Blundstone's but learned about Redbacks while researching chelsea boots. The Redback are tougher, more comfortable, actually made in Australia, and they're better looking IMO. People compliment them everywhere I go. I expect to have these for many years!

Best boot I've ever owned! These boots are functional, super comfortable, and stylish! These Redback Boots are EXACTLY what I was looking for. They are lightweight with decent arch support. The toe bed is wide enough that I can actually wiggle my toes- but not so wide that it feels like they're falling off. I was able to break the boots in after only 2 days. I've had them now for 2-3 weeks and they fit perfectly. 

I typically don't leave reviews, but I cannot recommend these boots enough! My search for boots had been long and literally painful: I had tried Blundstones (they don't have half sizes so they were either too short or too long for my foot- plus, they are not great quality!) and Thursday Boot Company (way way way too heavy! I had them for a year and could never break them in. They hurt my feet every time.)

I have been wearing the Great Barrier every day for the last 13 years. I only need to buy one pair ever 2-3 years. By far the best most durable boot I have ever owned.

I have been wearing Redback boots for the past 15 years. I started wearing them for work as a professional gardener. I found relief from pain in my back and knees, so I started wearing them for my regular everyday boots as well. Then I started hiking in them. Now I find that I can't live without them. One pair lasts me about 3 years, and I wear them hard. I have worn both the Bonsall and the Great Barrier, and even though I have added a waterproofing product to the Bonsall, the Great Barrier really does have superior waterproofing than anything I do myself. I am about to purchase a replacement for a pair I bought 3 years ago. I only wish I could find a discount code that actually works, as the price has gone up considerably. (not a deal breaker. They are in my cart and I am about to checkout.)

Exceptionally comfortable, durable and convenient boot for farm/ranch work. So easy to slip these on or off when I need to put on rubber boots when I do irrigation work. I've had my first pair for over 5 years now. I've never had another pair of boots last that long.
