I picked up a jar of Redback Leather Conditioner along with my boots to ensure I had the right care on hand from day one. Redback's 2.5mm oil-kip leather comes heavily saturated with natural oils right out of the factory, so while a brand-new pair won't need conditioning for a good while, ( probably a year for me ) having the factory-recommended blend ready to go is a no-brainer. It's affordable peace of mind for keeping thick, high-grade leather nourished, weather-resistant, and supple over years of heavy use.

Built Like a Tank, Comfortable on Day One
Straight out of the box, I took the Redback Easy Escapes on a 4.9-mile walkabout across mixed surfaces, and they delivered serious Australian quality from step one. The 2.5mm oil-kip leather feels thick and indestructible, while the air-cushioned soles absorb impact on hard pavement like a dream. Paired with a good midweight crew sock, they cradled my foot securely with zero heel slip the entire walk. If you want a rugged, all-day boot….these are worth every penny.

This is my second pair. My other pair is for work. These boots about perfect. Takes a few miles to break them in though.

Great Boot--fit is good--no issues---beautiful color !!!

I could wear them all day. The steel toe obviously makes them bit heavy but I found them to be very comfortable. It helps that I can easily slip them on and off but honestly haven't had to do that. With my other work boots I change into my vans asap..
For the size I looked up a size chart and sized up. My foot measures 8.5 inches or 215 mm which the chart says size 2 au. But I got a size 3 because I have wide feet. My toes have plenty of space though the first day the side of my foot felt a bit tight I think it was not to bad and didn't last long. Let's see how long they last.

Comfortable socks!

I have bought these boots 3 times now. I did give another boot a try and that was a BIG mistake. Won’t wear anything but red back boots from now on

These boots are absolutely awesome the break in wasn't even really an issue and they've kept my feet pretty dry surprisingly I wasn't sure if they were waterproof (lots of rain here in hawaii) I'm a big fan of boots in general for the style these bad boys have style and are fantastic working boots.
