Im a merchant mariner. Over the years I’ve developed a checklist of things that are important to me in a work boot. These are the most complete boot I have yet to find and I don’t think I’ll need to keep looking. For me what’s important:
Durable. High Quality materials. Well built. Made in the country of origin (made where the company was established). Easy on/off. Toe cap (for my steel toe boots-EE HD). Comfortable. Lightweight.
Well built with fine leather.It Takes a minute for the leather and elastic to stretch into that glove like fit that is what I am here for. These are a compliment to my EE HDs which I have had for 9 months.

I love these boots
I love these boots. I had a pair for 5 years and just bought my second pair. I sized down this time around because my old pair was a little too big. I had to order 2 different sizes to see which ones were better. I'm a size 7/7.5 normally and I settled in size 4.5 Great Barrier. They fit pretty tight at first but broke in quickly and never gave me blisters or anything in the process. The return process was easy and seemless.
